Dareon is a Cornerback who wins with physicality and strength. He displays good use of hands at the line of scrimmage. Keeps tight coverage on deep routes. Shows solid reads in Zone coverage watching the QB’s eyes and taking a break on the ball. Very good open-field tackler and one you can depend on to make a play. Good at using his hands to shed blocks by receivers and coming up in run defense. Plays through the whistle and does not give up on plays. Also plays RB and WR on offense but his season highlights only feature his Defensive Back play. Overall, a solid prospect who is a physical DB who could play in a nickel role at the next level due to his physicality and strength he displays that would allow him to be an effective run defender when replacing a linebacker on the field.
