Daniel was also one of the players from this showcase to earn his first overall offer from Livingstone College. Daniel has a nice physical frame and is a strong player who can pass rush off the edge, but also has enough weight and force to anchor down against running plays to the outside of the defense. Daniel showed some nice get-offs at the line of scrimmage at this showcase and tied that together with nice hand usage against offensive linemen consistently.

Daniel had a good game playing primarily off the edge against Berry. I thought Daniel did a good job of keeping outside leverage when Berry was trying some outside zone/jet sweep running plays. There were instances where Daniel got pressure in the passing game as well, using a nice speed rush to beat the tackle on the outside and force some errant throws by the Cardinals.

Echevarria doesn’t have a ton of film and he’s a positional tweener, but his length and athleticism against the run have him safely in the rankings. His flashes are excellent as he has several highlights where he’s able to bully opposing blockers on his way to a big tackle. He’s still developing, but I really like his upside.

Echevarria doesn’t have a ton of film, but what he’s shown has been excellent. He’s long and lean, with good explosion off the ball. That makes him an intriguing player at both linebacker and off the edge. He’s able to make highlight plays with his athleticism, whether that’s shooting a gap in the running game, bending around an offensive tackle, or leaping to make a key deflection. We’re intrigued by his upside.
