Florida State has been making a statement within MD state lines, swiping #1 WR Elijah Moore Elijah Moore 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Good Counsel | 2024 State MD , Concordia Preps star defensive linemen Ayo Tifase last year and now #3 DL Holmes. Holmes has improved as a prospect even while still being amongst the top recruits last year. He has great size, already the size of majority of FSU’s defensive line, and has great speed. Holmes has the type of speed where he can rush into the back field and still make the play 30-yards down field, he’s very impressive.

Holmes is a coach’s dream. He is a turnover machine. He does a great job at punching at the ball when sacking quarterbacks. He also does a good job of falling on loose balls. He is a very intelligent player that plays with great awareness. On options plays, he stays patient and plays his role. He has immense awareness as he has even picked up backs that try to slip out of the backfield.
