Grimes holds his place as the top recruit in the state of Idaho in the 2025 class, and deservingly so coming off a dominant senior season for Middleton. He has the ideal build for the tackle position with the frame to continue packing on more weight through out his college career and is extremely athletic for his size with natural bend in his ankles and hips. He snaps out of his stance, is very technically sound with a heavy punch and excels both in pass protection and the run game/blocking in space. He held offers from Eastern Washington, Montana, Portland State and Idaho before shutting down his recruitment and committing to the hometown Broncos.

The Middleton tackles showed why he was such a highly recruited prospect after a monster year for the Vikings. He was a huge reason they were able to run the ball so effectively and then showed a much-improved base and technique against the pass rush. Projects well as an interior offensive lineman at the next level.

Grimes leadership has really been on display as of late, everyone in the stadium knows that when push comes to shove, they are going to run behind the Boise State commit. His power and ability to play with great leverage is what makes him such a dominant offensive lineman. His ability to keep his team in the game and his unwavering confidence is something that is on display every game.

A tackle with great feet and balance that is able to really mirror defensive ends along with anchor against the bull rush. Grimes is the top player in the state of Idaho in the class of 2025 where he has been the anchor on the left side of the offense. He is able to really move where he is a threat to the second level along with quick feet that allows him to mirror defensive ends. He is committed to Boise State for a reason and its not hard to see why.

Grimes enters into our newest rankings as the number one overall prospect in the state of Idaho, and deservingly so. He is an elite tackle prospect with the ideal length, athleticism and growth potential for the next level and is a big time get for the in state Broncos. Grimes holds offers from Boise State, Eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana and Portland State but ultimately decided to commit to the Broncos in July. He has great upside as he continues to develop and pack on more weight to his frame, and he should be one of the more dominating offensive linemen across the western region this Fall and it would not be surprising if he gathers other FBS offers despite being already committed.

Grimes is the fastest rising offensive lineman in the state of idaho picking up the first offers of the offseason. Player with tremendous size and flexibility. He bends really well for a big body and has the foot quickness to really play with some of the top pash rushers around the state. He is a dominant run blocker and plays with great leverage along with pad level. Has long arms that allows him to get on defenders quickly in pass protection along with a really strong punch to stop first moves of pass rushers. Going to be one of the most highlight sought after prospects in the state by the end of the year.
