Making the quick trip up I-95 was Dallas Smith. Accustomed to New Jersey, Smith showed that he reacts to what is in front of him very well. During indy when he was participating in cut drills, he would often beat his position-mate to the spot and have to wait for them to make a cut, to which he was to respond to. Despite being there first, he did a great job of quickly reacting – meaning his eyes, mind, and body all fire quickly to what is happening in front of him.

Dallas Smith brought a physical edge to the running back group, using strong leg drive to power through reps and finish every drill on Saturday. Dallas ran routes with purpose and determination throughout the day, showing that he is not just a ground attack weapon but can also hurt the defense through the air as well. He showed reliable hands, confidently hauling in passes through traffic and proving he can be trusted downfield as a route runner. There is a lot to like in how Dallas plays the position.

Dallas Smith is a stud of a running back out of the 2030 class in Delaware. Vison, balance, agility, God-given ability all-around and a great feel for the running back position overall. He is a guy who just knows how to play the position at a high level already and I feel like Smith will have an awesome showing in New Jersey at the “RIZE”. I encourage one to keep an eye or two on him and take notes because he is a playmaker that can be utilized in many different ways on the gridiron without a doubt!
