Kelly is an elite prospect on both sides of the ball and has the ideal length and range/growth potential for the next level and could end up finding his home at defensive end in college. He just recently picked up his first offer from San Diego State and has dominated the few camps he has attended this off-season, taking home TE MVP Honors at the National Preps Showcase earlier this Spring. He is a high motor kid that is extremely violent at the point of attack on both sides of the ball and is a smooth athlete for his size that still has plenty of time to grow and develop over the next two years.

Kelly will soon gather his first offer, as he is the next up and coming elite tight end/defensive end prospect coming out of the Bay Area, which has no shortage of great ones. He passes the eye test at 6’5 and change and is a well put together kid with a huge catch radius, tracking abilities and strong hands in traffic while a big time red-zone target. He can stretch the field, beat man coverage and does a nice job at using his body to box out smaller defenders while showing YAC abilities as well. Defensively, he has a good inside strike and quick lock out, while also a natural bender off the edge that has a explosive first step, redirect ability and wins with transferring speed to power at the POA. He recently took home positional MVP Honors at the National Preps Showcase earlier this month, and is one of the top 2026 recruits in the northern California region.
