Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Courtland is a dynamic two-way athlete who makes an impact in all three phases of the game. On offense, he turned just 12 catches into 300 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns, showing his big-play ability every time the ball came his way. He stretches the field vertically, tracks the ball well, and can turn minimal touches into explosive gains with his speed and playmaking instincts.
After the catch, Courtland is dangerous in space. He accelerates quickly, makes defenders miss, and has the vision to find open lanes, which also shows up in the return game where he added 100 kick return yards. He’s a threat to flip field position or score any time he gets the ball in his hands.
Defensively at DB, he brings that same athleticism and competitiveness. His ball skills translate well, allowing him to mirror receivers and contest passes, while his speed helps him recover and stay in phase. He plays with confidence and isn’t afraid to challenge routes or come downhill when needed.

With a great blend of size and speed, Lee-Pugh is a deep threat for the offense and a game-changer with the ball in his possession. His long speed allows him to beat single coverage and outrun any defense. In space he is dangerous after the catch, not losing his speed and getting up-field when he can. Lee-Pugh is a fluid runner who can reach his top gear quickly, allowing him to create separation with ease. His ability to make contested catches made him that much more of a threat. Lee-Pugh will be a player to watch this spring.
