Cooper’s film shows a linebacker with a natural nose for the football and a strong understanding of run fits. His first step is decisive, allowing him to attack gaps quickly and disrupt plays before they fully develop. He plays with very good vision, diagnosing blocking schemes and tracking the ball efficiently. One of his standout traits is his willingness and ability to take on blockers of any size, holding his ground and working through contact to stay involved in the play.

He shows comfort making tackles both between the tackles and in space, wrapping up consistently and finishing with control. His size fits the position well, and he moves smoothly from sideline to sideline, giving him range in pursuit. Overall, Cooper brings a balanced skill set with physicality, instincts, and mobility that project very well at the linebacker position.
