About Cooper

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as hard, tough, fast, and gritty. I'm not always the biggest player on the field which is why I have always had to be the toughest. Grit, powering through adversity, has always been the factor that sets me apart from others.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say I have a "never quit" mentality.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an FCA (fellowship of christian athletes) leader. I have been involved in FCA my whole high school career, and it is something I take pride in. I have received some academic awards such as high honor society, and class GPA award.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge I have ever faced was dislocating my elbow in my freshman season. This challenge was difficult physically and mentally.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can play football and get a good education. Academics are just as important as sports for me, so a good education is a necessity. Another thing I look at is the college town. If there aren't many activities and opportunities in the town or city, I would want a good campus life.

Kisgen is a 5’10” running back and linebacker.  On the offensive side he had 960 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. Defensively he went for 95 tackles, 10 TFL, and 2 forced fumbles.  As a running back Kisgen has good vision and feel for finding holes in the run game.  Makes guys miss in the hole with his shifty cuts and then has the ability to use his speed in the open field. Weaves in and out of the defense at the second level when he needs to being elusive. Can also line up at receiver making some nice double moves. Defensively he is effective in coverage and a hard hitter. Very productive defensive player along with blocking kicks on special teams.
