Platt got his feet wet on the Spencer varsity as a freshman in 2025. He carried six times for 51 yards and assisted on a tackle. Operating on the program’s lower level as a ninth-grader, Platt compiled a highlight video of his top plays from his first high school campaign. A couple of aspects of his skill set and traits stick out quickly. First, Platt is physically advanced for his age. Lining up at quarterback, his speed and power overwhelm opponents. A strong arm also is present with an ability to fit the ball into tight windows and in pushing it downfield. Platt also flashes potential on defense, where he sticks in coverage and comes down hard against the run.
