Beyer is best known for his defense and made a name for himself on that side of the ball during Bedford’s run to the Division I championship last year. He was named to the Division I West All-Conference Team after the 2025 season. He’ll be asked to take on a larger role this season as he’s penciled in as one of Bedford’s starting halfbacks. Beyer performed well against Salem’s run game during the jamboree, but also scored on a 13-yard run. He’ll be a big piece of the offense for Bedford, which has scrapped the spread attack it used last season and is running the Wing-T.

Beyer is a fast and physical linebacker who was a significant contributor to Bedford’s defense last season as a sophomore, when he was a Division I West Honorable Mention selection. He’s part of a young defense this year, but his experience showed against Winnacunnet. He displayed a nose for the football and also looked comfortable in pass coverage. Beyer will also have a large role on offense as a halfback this season.
