The starter at Right Guard for the 13U Southfield Falcons, Ellis was one of the big bodies I noticed pretty quickly when checking out this team. He’s a thick, bottom-heavy kid who is playing the correct position as an interior lineman. He did a lot of positive things, highlighted by his pass blocking and ability to pick up blitzing through the A & B Gaps. Also was pleasantly surprised by his ability to pull and move down the line. While the pull down the line went well, there were some points where lack of speed hurt him and he was beat to the hole by the defense.
