Another small-town linebacker who knows how to hunt the quarterback, Star is a quick, instinctive defender who can be a force blitzing from the middle of the field. He’s also versatile enough to line up on the edge and play with his hand in the dirt. He plays fast, he’s aggressive, and is coming off a strong 2024 season where he made 192 tackles, 26 TFLs and 10 sacks. He has a true nose for the football, and if he continues to improve and puts on more mass and muscle, this productive defender should see some D1 offers come his way.

A promising linebacker from Columbus who can line up in multiple positions on the defense, Star Jr. is a tough, instinctual linebacker who can naturally find his way to the ball-carrier. He can fly off the edge and slip through blocks between the trenches, allowing him to cause havoc in the backfield. He’s fundamentally sound who strikes with his pads and brings a physical presence to the defense. He made an incredible 192 tackles, 26 TFLs and 10 sacks to go along with three fumble recoveries. He’s one of the more productive linebackers across the state last year and did it in just year two. Now, he’s ranked as the No. 21 linebacker and the No. 161 overall prospect in the state.
