Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A junior linebacker in the Atlanta are having a really strong junior season, Bennett Jr has shown good instincts and closing speed this fall and has lit up the stat sheet on a weekly basis. The quick, playmaking defender has made 95 tackles, five TFLs, two sacks, and one forced fumble. He runs well, can slip through blocks, and knows how to wrap up properly when making a tackles in the open field. He’s made at least eight tackles in seven games and has hit the 10+ tackle mark in three games. He’s been one of the more productive defenders in the region and could see some possible D1 interest come his way in the off-season.

Bennett is a very physical player and is someone that I have high hopes for. He gets better every game. He has great size, and at this rate will be one of the better players in the state come next year at the position. The best way to describe him is dominant.
