Maxie is a star and is someone who is best used in his offensive scheme with Byrd High School. Maxie is growing into an elite running back and is someone that I think will, at a minimum, be in the top five by the end of the year; one could argue that he will still finish at the top of the state in rushing yards by the time the season comes to a close.

In fact, the talented prospect from the state of Louisiana is currently leading the state in rushing yards, with 694 yards on the ground. Maxie, a growing athlete, is someone that fans can begin to count on to show up every week, which is why he is on this list to begin with. Maxie has done a great job when it comes to seeing a hole and using his vision to break down a defense.

Christian Maxies is set to become one of the better players in the state of Louisiana when it comes to being a running back. Maxie has everything it takes to show this season that he is an elite player with the potential to push the limits of opposing teams more than almost any other player in the state. He is one of my favorite returning players in the state, and is arguably the player with the most potential if he continues to add more weight. I am all in on Maxie as a prospect and a high school player ahead of the 2026 season.
