In one of the best games of the week that not many people watched, Kramer went out with a historic performance. That game was a high-scoring shootout where both teams deserved to win. Kramer, however, gave his guys literally everything he could. He went 22 of 34 for 215 yards and 3 TDs through the air and then added 217 yards and 3 TDs on the ground. He finished the game with just under 450 scrimmage yards and 6 TDs in the 42-49 loss.

Kramer’s development has been one of my favorites to see since he got the start. He’s smart, makes good decisions, and regularly torches defenses with his legs because they don’t respect it. Friday, he went 16 of 20 for 219 yards and rushed for 266 yards and had 6 total TDs as they crushed Crawfordsville.

Kramer has had a strong first two weeks of the year. Totaling 746 yards and nine touchdowns (442 and 4 TDs passing, 304 and 5 TDs rushing), the 6-foot-1, 190-pound quarterback is proving himself to be an effective passer who can zip the ball through tight windows as well as make plays with his legs. North Putnam is 1-1 with a 57-26 Week 2 win over Cloverdale.

Kramer, also committed to Butler, is what modern college football offenses need: a dual-threat runner and gunslinger who can throw ont he move and make things happen with his legs. Kramer has great vision, almost like a running back, and had a very productive season in 2024: he was 134-222 for 1,932 yards and 14 touchdowns, and added 206 carries for 1,700 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Kramer was third in the state in Class 2A rushing yards with 1,700, and led the state in rushing touchdowns with 25. He is a solid passer who can throw on the move, and a key returning starter for North Putnam.

Kramer is a dual-threat quarterback who has taken the reigns on the offense this year. He’s running more than ever before and it’s working out well. He’s a good athlete with long strides that just chew up yardage. While he’s good in the running game, he is completing 65% of his passes and only has 5 INTs. Once you add in his 1168 rushing yards and 16 TDs his numbers begin to look a bit absurd, but that’s because he’s incredibly talented and plays with as much confidence as anyone in the state.
