Yet another dynamic and athletic utility athlete out of Southern Minnesota, Hanska product and Minnesota Valley Lutheran junior was all business in Plymouth and treated the PRZMN Spring Showcase like the business trip it was. After popping off a 4.91 40, 4.50 shuttle, and 8’9 broad jump, Tweit was a twitched up and developed route runner who was smooth at changing direction and at the top of the route, as well as when tracking the ball, and he had the deep speed to beat LBs vertically comfortably. Consistent hands as well. Should be a big 2026 for Tweit!

I don’t think I am wrong by saying that Chase has been at every single Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase since he was a freshmen at Minnesota Valley Lutheran, and with that being said it seems like every time I watch Chase during these showcases, I find a skillset that keeps developing. That skillset this time, was his route-running as he caught darn near everything that came his way regardless if it was in a tight window or not. I also like his rep in the top performer group at the end, of Session 1 as he ran a route that I felt usually brings challenges to running backs as he utilized his twitch and got enough seperation on on out-route which would have moved the chains if he was playing on Friday night. That route-tree in general surely is why Chase was in my top-tier amongst the RBs on Saturday in Plymouth.

A running back who has impressed our scouts at a couple of combines over the past couple of years, Tweit was a driving force for that Minnesota Valley Lutheran offense last season as a sophomore. He’s got a fair amount of sophomore tape, and I liked what he had to offer. The kid runs hard and fights tooth and nail for every extra yard possible. He’s noticeably both quicker and faster than a vast majority of people on the field, and shows off real potential as a kick returner. I love how he doesn’t hesitate to get north and south, and this applies every time he touches the ball. He pumps his legs hard upon contact and can easily break 1-2 tackles, especially if they don’t meet Tweit head-on. I’m excited to see how he evolves going into his junior season.
