Riehle punished opposing defenses all season for Banning Lewis Academy. Including multiple 100+ yard games and even a 200+ game. The junior measures in at 6’1 215 pounds, and is a powerful bruising back. Throughout the season he ran the ball 142 times for 1381 yards and 17 touchdowns. In the passing game, he had 15 receptions for 138 yards and 2 touchdowns. Riehle has good athletic ability due to good speed, acceleration, change of direction and balance. Riehle demonstrates a good burst of speed when going through the line of scrimmage. He’ll use his good mental processing to identify holes and rush through them. Riehle is a very physical running back. He’s got a tenacity to him. He thrives in contact with defenders. Very good trucking combined with a very good stiff arm makes him even more lethal. His stiff arm knocks defenders on their backs. He just runs through them like they are nothing. It takes multiple defenders to bring him down. Demonstrated good juke moves.  He has good catching skills as well. He has good ball tracking skills, and makes it so the defense must watch him during the passing sets. Sometimes he will be lined up in the fullback position either for FB runs or for blocking. He is a phenomenal blocker. He excels in both pass and run blocks. He keeps a low pad level to out leverage the DL/LB using good hand placement to control and steer them out of the way creating running lanes. He was consistently creating lanes for the running back by getting out in space and throwing them down. Riehle is an all around great prospect who deserves to be on more people’s radars.

Riehle is a back that has the strength to get those big chunk yards and has the ability to break through arm tackles. He does have the speed to pull away from defenders at times when he makes it into the open field. He is more of a physical back that can be a threat to punch it in whenever they get close to the endzone.

Riehle is a sleeper with outstanding athleticism. He is an explosive runner who can find the slightest crease between the tackles and lower his shoulder to run through defenders. His athleticism gives him the versatility needed to be a viable option in the passing game. He is a solid route-runner with reliable hands who is extremely dangerous in space, making him a dangerous weapon in all phases of the game. Riehle is a talented player on the verge of being a big-time prospect.

Riehle is a back that shows his running power with the way he is able to carry the pile for extra yardage and even to the endzone if he has to. He is a physical runner and he does not go down easily being able to break through arm tackles. He shows good vision and is able to use his speed when he is able to make it into the open field picking up chunk yardage. At times he is able to use his hands to catch the ball out of the backfield as well.

Riehle is a two-way player who stands out on both sides of the ball, but his skills as a running back are worthy of admiration. His size gives him formidable power and his speed makes him difficult to contain. As a running back, he shows good vision and grit by doing a fantastic job of running between the tackles while breaking free from contact. Riehle is a special player with a significantly high ceiling, putting him in the category of must-watch prospects.
