About Carter

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a true multi-position athlete who can impact anywhere I’m needed. This season I ran the offense at quarterback, making plays with both my arm and my legs and adjusting the tempo based on what the defense showed. I see the whole field, process movement fast, and stay disciplined in my reads. Defensively I’m physical and aggressive, with a mindset to finish every play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a tough competitor with a work-first mentality. I believe you win by doing what’s required on the field, in the weight room, and in the classroom. I take losses personally and use them as motivation to elevate every part of my game. I’m driven to improve, coachable, and committed to being the kind of player a team can rely on in any situation.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the middle school band and often get to join the high school marching band playing tuba. I recently joined debate club when I participate in debate competitions around the city.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

This season has taught me what real leadership takes. It’s not just about making plays, it’s about being the person who stays steady in both wins and losses, managing emotions, and keeping the team focused when the pressure is on. I’ve learned how to communicate, stay composed, and step up when everyone is relying on me. Off the field, serving at my church every Sunday has taught me responsibility

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced a major challenge last year when I had to learn the importance of making the right decisions and surrounding myself with the right people. It taught me maturity, accountability, and how much your environment impacts your performance on and off the field.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a Division I program that values discipline, accountability, and growth. I want a team environment that pushes players to compete at a high level while also encouraging development on and off the field.
