Campbell showed out last Thursday against the Rampart Rams. The QB/SS had 9 carries for 227 yards and 4 touchdowns. As a safety, he had 3 tackles ( 2 solo, 1 assisted). Campbell didn’t do damage with his arm, it was all through his legs. He has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, good change of direction, and good balance. Campbell has good mental processing, and diagnosed whether to give the ball off to the RB or not with the read option. He uses dynamic cuts at the line of scrimmage, making defensive lineman miss. Campbell uses his very good vision to identify the holes, and find himself a path while weaving through defenders. He uses his homerun speed to run past the defense. He doesn’t shy away from physicality. He will put the shoulder down to create contact, using his good trucking to run over defenders. He brings that same mindset to the defensive side. Campbell comes down from his deep zone and makes a hard hit on the running back. Great performance by the athlete.

Campbell showcased his dual-threat ability in Palmer Ridge’s Week 2 Thursday night game, completing 11 of 17 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns. He also added seven carries for 60 yards and a rushing touchdown, proving to be a key playmaker for his team. His versatility kept the defense on its heels, as he consistently made plays both through the air and on the ground. His explosive performance, particularly in open space, highlights his potential to continue developing as a dangerous dual-threat quarterback moving forward.

Campbell is a stock riser that is also a transfer and will make an immediate impact for his new team. He has a strong arm and nice zip, being able to get it to his receivers quickly. When you watch film he can make every throw on the field no matter the weather. He will be another stock watch player and if he is able to duplicate this past season he will pop on a lot of radars this season.

Campbell is more of a slender quarterback but has some pop on his passes being able to stretch the field and hit the passes outside the numbers. He was a player that showed flashes and left you wanting to see more of what he could bring. He had good footwork in the drill work and was able to get the ball out quickly. He was able to read and make decisions on the fly, taking what the defense gave him and checking down. Would have like to see him air it out more, showing off his arm talent but was making good reads and was doing the right thing with the ball.

Campbell is a player with a strong arm that can step-up into the pocket and deliver a strike to the receiver. He has nice touch on the deep ball and excels at intermediate passes, hitting the receivers in stride. He shows good vision and can scan the field quickly getting the ball to the open receiver. Will look for him to show his arm strength pushing the ball downfield in 1 on 1 and be on time with his delivery to the receivers.
