Palmer plays much bigger than his listed size, dominating matchups with strength and power. He is a dangerous threat on the deep ball where he has shown tremendous ball skills and physicality at the catch point. Palmer made numerous plays last season by exploiting single coverage and finding the soft spots in zone. He is a strong runner after the catch, breaking through tackles and maintaining his balance after contact.

For his sophomore season Palmer caught 18 passes for 521 yards and 5 touchdowns, averaging north of 28 yards per catch. He is a big-play threat with the ability to flip an outcome of a game with one play. Outstanding player with so much room to develop even more.

Palmer is a wide receiver who stands out for his strong ball skills and what he does after the catch. He tracks the football well in the air, adjusts to throws outside his frame, and shows strong focus when competing for contested catches. He’s comfortable going up and attacking the ball, which makes him a reliable target in tight coverage situations.

Once the ball is in his hands, Palmer becomes a threat to create extra yardage. He shows good vision in space, quick acceleration out of contact, and the ability to make defenders miss in one on one situations.
