Beck has been one of the more disruptive linebackers in the county, putting together 63 tackles, 16.0 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks. The numbers show how active he is around the line of scrimmage, but his motor is what really stands out. Beck does a good job getting downhill, finding the football and making plays behind the line. He’s not simply a volume tackler; the TFL and sack totals show his ability to create negative plays and affect opposing offenses. His combination of pursuit, physicality and backfield disruption makes him a defender worth following as Lakeland Christian heads toward postseason play.

Beck was a monster in this one, coming off the edge to force sacks and hurry passes while disrupting the offense all night. He also forced a fumble and recovered one, making his presence felt throughout the game. He fits well at his new home and instantly gives this defense another playmaker to build around. If he can stay healthy, his stock should continue to rise.
