CJ Griffith had some monster games this last season as the fullback in Ridge’s Wing-T offense. We see that he uses the stiff arm for both balance and to evade pile-ups in his path. Better than your typical fullback, Griffith has shown that he can outrun some linebackers to the perimeter when given a toss. In close quarters he uses the jump cut to gain a few extra yards, while also showing he can set up his blockers to spring loose. Of the upmost importance in a Wing-T offense, Griffith has shown loyalty to his track, running it and trusting where the play is designed to hit.
