Branch is an all-state, all-region performer at QB with impressive verified athletic readings, such as an 11.38 PR in the 100M. He can roll as a runner, but he uses his athleticism to move the pocket and escape chaos, while doing so in a controlled, looking-to-throw manner. He is a timing-based, turn and throw player with a quick release and the touch to give his receivers a chance down the field. The level of athlete is what I keep going back to here, and what I imagine will be his calling card if college programs get involved down the stretch.

One of the top quarterbacks in the Columbus area, Branch is a quarterback with size, above-average arm talent, and the ability to push the ball down the field. He shows strong pocket presence and has one of the strongest arms in the area. He’s flashed D1-caliber potential so far this season, throwing for 1,050 yards and 15 touchdowns. He’s thrown for at least two touchdowns in every game and has also made plays with his legs, rushing for 195 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. He doesn’t play against the best competition, but he’s been really impressive through the first five games of the season, leading his Brookstone team to a strong 5-0 start.
