About Brendan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Tough aggressive downhill runner with good hands who sees the field well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a lead by example player and leader. I work to be consistent and calm in all situations. My work ethic, positive attitude and on the field performance enable me to gain the trust and respect of my teammates, even this past season as a sophomore starter on an upperclassman heavy team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an honor role student and am still Involved in my ministry at school and my local Parish.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership, coachable, teamwork, work ethic, goal oriented, disciplined, strong time management skills, academic success, community service, self starter, motivated and sportsmanship

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

wrestling season brings a challenge, which weight to wrestle to win a starting Spot on varsity. This season I had to compete against a senior for the 165lb or 175lb starting spot. I played football at 185lb so I had to cut weight to make either but I wanted the 175lb spot to limit my cut. I had to win 2 wrestle offs, one in a tourney final to secure the 175lb spot. I ended up league champ @175.

What type of college are you looking for?

Solid academic school with solid sciences/business as I am undecided on physical therapy or business. I would Also like a strong athletics college with strong school spirit. I’m less concerned about the size but would like a busy campus with a good number of residents and an involved student body.
