He’s the type of receiver who plays strong through contact and isn’t afraid to work the middle of the field. His hands are dependable, especially in contested situations, where he shows good focus and the ability to finish catches under pressure.

Route wise, he’s still developing consistency, but he understands how to find leverage and give his quarterback a clear target. He’s most effective when he’s allowed to play aggressively attacking the ball in the air and turning short to intermediate throws into solid gains. Lane is committed to USC.

He is a physical player who fights through contact at the top of his routes and does an excellent job of working back to the ball. Lane excels at finding space in the short and intermediate areas, making the catch, then making the first man miss on his way up the field. He has shown to have some of the more impressive hands in the class and is a big-play threat whenever on the field.
