With a good low back pedal and good hips that allow him to stay at the wide reliever’s pocket, plus the fast twitch needed to break with them on routes, Barnett is most definitely deserving of being mention on the defensive back list as well. His willingness to make open field tackles and fight for any ball that is thrown his way at the JV and Varsity levels already, just better equip and progress him as a player.

Equipped with great athleticism on a variety of routes that translates to both sides of the ball where he also plays defensive back, alongside his ability to make catches in traffic and being able to follow his blockers on open field runs, make his potential at the wide receiver position definitely one to watch. His impact is also felt even when he doesn’t have the ball, as he does a great job blocking for other ball carriers.

Barnett had a standout performance and left no doubt that he is one of the top defensive backs in his class. Braylin was a blur during the combine session of the camp, blazing a 4.51 forty time, one of the fastest times overall on Saturday. He is a twitchy athlete with excellent length, who moves well in space and he has the ability to shift gears effortlessly. As he progressed through the agility drills, he showed off his clean footwork, as well as his fluidity in his hips, which allows him to stay in phase without giving ground during coverage. Braylin plays with a swagger and confidence beyond his years. He has a rangy, athletic build that will enable him to continue to add bulk. Barnett put all on notice that his stock is on the rise.
