Hudson chipped in all around the field for Pocahontas Area as a junior last fall. He registered 21.5 tackles, 15 of which were solo stops. Hudson also intercepted a throw. He caught eight balls for 107 yards, and averaged 14.0 yards on five kick returns. Hudson’s 11th-grade highlights on his Hudl page reveal a player with a well-rounded set of traits that work on both sides of the ball. He’s a versatile receiver capable of delivering on underneath routes, where he can use his quickness, or down the field where he adjusts well to the ball in the air and sells his routes. On defense, he shows lateral quickness, straight-line speed and smooth actions in coverage. Hudson is a guy whose skills work well on special teams, too.
