BREAKOUT CANDIDATE

One of the young players ready for a larger role for the Indians this season is 2029 RB/LB Brayden Boyer. As a freshman, Boyer led Berkeley Springs in rushing despite playing in an offense that relied heavily on the passing game, finishing with more than 200 rushing yards and a touchdown. He also contributed defensively with 21 tackles and three tackles for loss, giving the Indians valuable snaps on both sides of the ball. Boyer is a bigger-bodied back who runs with a physical, downhill style, consistently falling forward and finishing through contact. As he continues to earn more opportunities and physically mature, expect his production and role within the offense to grow over the next few seasons and develop into a future star.
