Ellis, one of the top Tight Ends in the State, made his commitment to Ithaca College – Ithaca gets a TE prospect who, although a little undersize,d can be moved all around an offense where his athleticism will win both as a receiver in the short and intermediate areas of the field but also as a lead blocker in space. Ellis is the type of TE who can play all three-downs, provide special teams value, and even has the athleticism, I think, to transition to an LB position if that’s the route a team wants to go. Very good pickup for Ithaca College.
