Ferronato led the competitive Adobe league in receiving yards as a junior taking 44 receptions for 895 yards and 5 touchdowns. Flashes great short area quickness and acceleration out of his cuts to create space. He’s a smart route runner that knows how to attack leverage and establish positioning to open up a throwing lane. Outstanding ball skills, he’s competitive through the catch with strong hands and good leaping ability to compete at the high point. Creative after the catch, he’s elusive in the open field and can breakaway in space. Expect the touchdown numbers to return to the mean with more as a senior. He’s a game changer that forces defenses to account for him on every play.

The Windsor standout is only a Junior and one of the top returning players across the north bay heading into the off-season. He can play anywhere in either the slot, outside or even the backfield and is a very twitchy and fast athlete that can create downfield seperation and runs precise routes while tough to cover downfield due to third level speed and tracking abilities over the top. He shows the skills to beat man coverage and settle in zone, while quickly knifing upfield to gain yards after the catch while a very technically sound pass catcher. Overall, he is a quick twitched and elusive playmaker and has big play abilities in the open field and can make an impact in the return game as well. He has put up some impressive numbers so far this regular season, having 745 receiving yards through 9 games and and showing he can be used in various ways in this Windsor offense.

Ferronato is a highly talented and gifted WR that plays much bigger than his frame. Through eight games he’s got 35 receptions for 677 yards and three touchdowns. Explosive off the line with great initial burst and quick twitch both on his releases and as a route runner. Does a good job snapping his routes off at the top with good angles and strong start stop speed. Tough player and great competitor that attacks the ball in the air with his hands and can beat defenses in a variety of ways at all levels of the field. Electric after the catch with high level short area speed and lateral quickness to be elusive in the open field. Can take over a game and a guy that defenses have to plan for and that has seen a lot of double coverage this year.

Ferronato is one of the top weapons across the Bay Area heading into his Junior season for the North Bay power and has had a very nice off-season thus far. He is a versatile weapon that can lineup anywhere on the perimeter or the backfield and is explosive at the first two levels. He is a twitchy and elite route runner that can gets in and out of his breaks quickly and into blind spots before breaking off and snags the ball out of the air with good tracking abilities and strong hands. After the catch, he is tough to bring down and can make defenders miss in space/force poor angles with his top end speed. Checking into our rankings as a top 50 player at his position across the state, he is poised for a huge Junior season and should get plenty of next level looks as he moves through his last two prep seasons.
