Last season, he had 30 total tackles (13 solo, 17 assisted), 5 TFL, 3.5 sacks, 2 QB pressures, with 1 forced fumble. Bovee has good acceleration and solid change of direction. Good initial quickness with good hand speed. Good bend around the edge. Bovee uses his good strength to split combo blocks, and make tackles while being held. He creates first contact to slow the ball carrier down, allowing teammates to finish up the play. Good tackling with very good pursuit. He consistently plays through the whistle. I’m intrigued to see how Bovee improves this off-season.
