Young is our top-ranked 8-man player in the state and he ran circles around the competition last year. He came close to hitting 2,000 scrimmage yards with patience and an ability to make players miss in the open field. I think his skillset translates to the next level, and he should have a huge senior season.

The first thing I like is Ben’s 3.44 GPA on his Twitter profile – smart football players are always one you can trust and depend on. Some colleges may shy away from Ben because of his height, but he has very good speed and quickness in the open field. In some ways that plays to his advantage as he can be a bit of a slippery runner with his agility. Ben shows some ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and be a mismatch threat against linebackers in space. In a recent jamboree, Ben also shows that he can be a factor at wide receiver in the screen game as well.
