Balaguer is still one in the area who I don’t think gets enough love. He’s now doing it at another program and has stepped in as the leader of the Lennard offense during a solid start to the season. The arm strength stands out, but so does his accuracy and ability to operate the offense. Balaguer came over from Sumner after starting three years there, so he has already seen plenty of high-level football and big-game situations. That experience has shown up early at Lennard.

Balaguer might be one of the more important senior quarterbacks on this list because of the experience he brings. After transferring from Sumner, he stepped into a Lennard program that has become one of the better teams in Hillsborough County, and the coaching staff already had plenty of confidence in him. He’s showing why, putting up 853 passing yards and 10 touchdowns while adding 176 yards and two rushing scores. That’s a pretty good start to the season, and college staffs should be paying attention.
