– Anthony was the main offensive threat for a Hickory Grove program the last three years, people knew he was getting the ball, planned against him, and he still went out there and put up over 6,000 yards in his career. He played well in the Queen City Senior Bowl also, proving he has real talent on the same level as his peers.

Anthony has been the featured offensive player for Hickory Grove for the last couple of years. Anthony can carry a heavy load in the running game, with the ability to run inside or outside equally well. Anthony can also run with power through defensive players or with explosive speed running around or away from defenders at all levels of the defense. Anthony helped lead Hickory Grove to the 2nd round of the playoffs this season.

I was recently on a podcast and said that no matter what level of football you reference, Anthony is a talented running back and deserves the recognition he is currently getting. He’s named one of the best overall players in Charlotte by a local station, and he simply dominates games when he is in a groove running the football. With over 1700 yards rushing and 26 touchdowns, he will be the focal point of a talented Hickory Grove team once again this season.
