Game Stats: 14 tcks, 6 TFL, 2 FF, 1 FR, 5 sacks & 1 blocked FGIf we didn’t know about this Wilson Co. defender, we need to start doing so because he had a breakout show in Week One where Griffith was a one man wrecking crew in the Saints 35-6 victory over RePublic. Griffith was an absolute force on the line of scrimmage as he not only made constant plays in the backfield but also in space. The Saints junior D-lineman topped things off by blocking a field goal, so Griffith did just about everything on defense besides sell popcorn. If he continues this kind of play the rest of the year, Griffith will be in consideration for D2-Class A defensive player of the year.
