A speedy athlete to know in Cherokee County, Rowe is a Woodstock native with good size at 6-foot-1 185-pounds with above-average speed and burst. A do-it-all player on offense who can line up just about anywhere, Rowe showed he’s a weapon with the ball in his hands who could see more opportunities to make plays on that side of the ball as a senior. He’s a playmaking defender on defense, making 45 tackles and picking off four passes, taking one of them back for a touchdown. He also broke up six passes and is one of the top returning defenders in the region. Like the others, look for Rowe to see a bump when the next Prep Redzone rankings are updated.

Rowe has been a familiar name to me since last fall, and a recent offer from Georgia Southern cracks the glass ceiling of his recruitment. Rowe plays both ways, but will settle as a DB. Just a well-rounded, solid player here. Checks the length boxes, has long strides in space, and is a fluid athlete. He is a patient player, both in coverage and as a tackler, which keeps him in a prime position to make a play. From there, his ball skills and point of attack ability do the rest.

Rowe finished the season with a team-high four interceptions, as he is someone who was highlighted as a top ball-hawking defensive back in the state of Georgia. Rowe is a guy who baited many QBs, which is where the majority of the interceptions came from, as he had to put himself in a position to make a play rather than just being in the right place at the right time. That’s what you like to see out of a defensive back with his size. He has another season, which makes me believe he is on the verge of becoming a top-gem DB in the state of Georgia.
