About Andre

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my gameplay style as high energy, disciplined, and team first. I'm focused on making smart decisions, staying physically aggressive, and doing whatever helps the team win, whether that’s creating plays, applying pressure, or staying consistent in my role

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’d describe my mentality as competitive, coachable, and resilient. I stay focused under pressure, put the team first, and always look for ways to improve and help the group succeed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m a multi-sport athlete who competes in football, basketball, and track, and I think each sport helps shape me as a player. Basketball has improved my agility and awareness, track has built my speed and discipline, and football brings out my toughness, teamwork, and competitiveness.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through sports, I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Playing multiple sports has taught me how to work well with different teammates, stay committed to improvement, and lead by example. I’ve also learned the importance of accountability, communication, and supporting others on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was tearing my ACL and missing my junior season of football. Going through recovery was difficult because it required a lot of hard work, patience, and mental toughness, but it helped me grow as a person and an athlete. It taught me how to handle adversity, stay focused on my goals, and keep pushing even when things didn’t go as planned.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will challenge me academically and athletically while giving me the opportunity to grow as a player and as a person. I want to be part of a strong team culture, build good relationships with coaches and teammates, and compete in an environment where hard work, discipline, and development are valued.
