Varnado disrupted the Offensive line on multiple plays I watched over my 2 days at practice. Don’t run up the middle with Varnado on the other side of the ball was my take away from watching him.
- Very strong
- has the ability to not only disrupt an Oline but has some speed to track down a QB in the backfield
- not the tallest but very dominant on the interior Dline
- overall Dawg on DL

Varnado was another Mississippi native that impressed me with his strength and his ability to disrupt an Oline. Don’t run up the middle with Varnado on the other side of the ball was my take away from watching him over all 3 practices.

– Played for the 14U Mississippi Wolfpack this year.
– Was a standout member of the Wolfpack team that won AYF Nationals in 2022-2023, despite being one of the younger kids on the team, as a seventh-grader.
– One of the shortest linemen on a team of giants, he’s built like a tank that fires out low and rolls over the opposition. Expect him to make a number of TFL from the interior defensive line.

Varnado has been my favorite 2028 player to watch this season. Every week, one of his family members are sharing a video of him doing things that just make you shake your head. The most recent video is him playing quarterback and just mauling over his opponents all the way to the end zone. I also saw a video where he picked up a football and did the same thing on his way to that touchdown play. Varnado looks like he is going to be a problem on the defensive line one day. This young man is very dangerous in the trenches. He already has the athleticism to be a freak of nature on the line. Once he gets some mechanics down, he is going to be a true problem.
