He is a true ATH, as he reaches his stop speed quickly and can make outstanding cuts across the field on returns.

Standing at 5’9″ 170-pounds, Amare “Pop” Coffil has an undersized build for the CB and WR positions. The CBA-Albany product, can play both positions but projects as a CB.

Coffil dominates man coverage with fluid hips and a tenacious approach to covering the WR leaving no separation or room to breathe. He is a ball hawk machine, finding the ball on most plays. Amare is a solid tackler who rarely misses or allows big gains. At the WR position, he uses his pure hands to make tough catches and 50/50 balls.

Coffil is an underrated prospect who can certainly rise through the rankings.

Amare “Pop” Coffil has a lot of pop in his game, especially being able to play at both WR and CB spots. At WR, what stands out is his pure hands that he has when making catches away from his body. In the event of that, the ability to track the ball down the field and to make catches over opponents. Running double moves effectively and controlling his body near the boundary was evident. In essence, Coffil is arguably better at CB, where his fluid hips show playing in man coverage.
