Alexander is a 6’3 edge defender who is positioned to take a noticeable jump this season, and all signs point to him being a much more impactful player compared to last year. His frame alone gives him a strong foundation at the position, but what’s starting to separate him is how his game is coming together with more confidence and consistency.

On film, he shows flashes of real upside as a pass rusher. He has the length to win at the top of the rush and create problems for offensive tackles, especially when he’s able to convert speed into power. As he continues refining his hand usage and pass rush plan, those flashes are starting to turn into more consistent pressure.

What also stands out is his ability to stay active in the run game. He uses his length well to set the edge and keep outside contain, forcing runs back inside toward help. When he plays with discipline, he becomes a reliable piece on the edge who doesn’t get washed out of plays easily.
