Rise: #101 Up to #83

Felix found himself just outside the Top 100 last update, but his junior season left no doubt that he deserves to be among those Top 100 best players. Watching through Felix’s highlights you almost can’t stop wincing as he completely destroys DL. Felix is so strong and has such heavy hands. That gives the junior the ability to instantly get movement in the trenches in the run game, or bury his man in the dirt on contact. The 275 lbs OL brings athleticism to the trenches too. You see him quickly get up to level two and moving while staying in a position of power so he is ready to make contact at any moment. This kid is built to dominate in the run game. I’m very excited for him to put on a show this summer at camps.

Elkhorn is having a strong season and a big reason why is the play of their OL unit. Among that group is an impressive 6’4″ 275 lbs junior at OT. The big man is twitchy. Over and over he is able to quickly position himself so that his butt is to the hole and he is between ball and defender. Once he establishes position it is a full on attack. Felix is quick to close on his man and instantly creates power when he arrives to his target. The junior is loaded up with power that instantly craters movement and once he gets any sort of flow going he is going to run that man away from the ball. Felix already has the size you look for, so seeing him move and dominate as well as he does leaves me little doubt he can play at the next level.
