Needs to develop and get more bulk but has a chance. Also rushed for 1,000+ yards last season on top of 86 tackles.

Cravens is a 3-year full-time starter going into year 4 with 2 full workloads. Each year defensively he’s been as consistent as you can imagine. 88 tackles, 89 tackles, and 86 tackles in each of his first 3 years. He’s got a handful of interceptions, fumbles, and passes deflected each year as well. He’s such a good athlete that he then became the starting back this year and rushed for over 1000 yards. Cravens has been a workhorse for Sheridan since his freshman year and they’re going to miss him when he leaves.

Cravens is a 3 sport stud for Sheridan, but could make football his future calling. He’s a high IQ player who quickly picks up on things and became a leader for the defense. He’s willing to be physical and put his body on the line for his guys. He’s able to come to balance and wrap up in the open field as well. I also like that he doesn’t ever seem to get too high or too low emotionally. He’s as consistent and as steady as you want guys to be on the field. He plays ball and celebrates afterwards. Leading the defense from such a young age only points to big things for him as he heads into his upperclassman years.
