This has been a breakout performance everybody was expecting. Richards made some noise as a freshman making some big plays as Chase Bonta’s backup and being an exceptional LB. This year as a full time starter, Alaric exploded in week 1 going for 200 yards and 4 scores. While his numbers have cooled off since then, he is still one of the top athletes for the class of ’29.

Richards is easily poised for a breakout season but with him already making varsity noise as a freshman, the book is already out on him. Alaric earned second team All-League honors as a LB and was impactful as Jamestown’s backup RB and was even named a Player of the Week for his dominant performance in the first round of the playoffs. With Chase Bonta off to Stetson, the stage is set for Richards to be the two-way stud the Red & Green need to get back to the finals.
