Mount Ayr did not light up the skies with its passing game in 2025. When it did find success through the air, Reed was the top target. The junior caught 15 passes for 325 of the team’s 660 passing yards. He accounted for four of the Raiders nine receiving touchdowns. Reed rushed for 328 yards (5.7 YPC) and a score, too. Sixteen of his 22.0 tackles were of the solo variety. He had a tackle for loss and two fumble recoveries, one of which he returned 77 yards for a TD. If that weren’t enough, he intercepted three throws, averaged 32.0 yards on three kick returns and 26.3 on a trio of punt returns, taking one of them to the house. There might be even more upside on defense and special teams, where he’s an explosive athlete playing with physicality.
