What separated him even more was the polish. Smith ran routes with balance, pacing, and control out of breaks, creating windows before the ball was even released. He threatened defenses deep with long speed but was just as dangerous winning technically underneath. Add in highlight-reel adjustment skills and strong hands, and Smith looked every bit like a true WR1.
