Burton is a good lineman who plays with a strong base and has good understanding of what’s happening in front of him. He’s capable in both the run and the pass. He’s off the ball fairly quickly and has little to no wasted movement. He gave stability on the left side of the line and then has the athletic ability to get to the second level. He’ll continuously look for more guys to block and will get downfield in the running game. He’s a bit underrated, but I think he’s got the upside to play on Saturdays.

While Burton does have experience lining up on both sides of the ball, I feel his potential and future remains on the offensive side. He started Varsity last season on the outside and did a decent job. He got more confident as the season went along and by the year’s end, was a competent LT. He’s a decent athlete for his size and does a good job staying off of his heels and not grabbing onto the outside of the shoulder pads. He is a bit light as of right now, but as he hits the weight room and continues to develop physically, it’ll help make him more complete upfront.
