He shows he can chunk yards off the ball, gets into the blind spots of defenders and plucks the ball out of the air with strong hands and contested catch abilities at the POA. Wright is tough to tackle in space and can make defenders miss easily with twitch and lateral quickness while also showing contact balance and is not afraid to catch over the middle. He holds one offer from Oregon State but should gather plenty of P4 attention this year and next off-season.

Wright is an explosive playmaker out of the slot and at kick returner. He’s a quick twitch athlete at 5’10” 170 lbs. that creates consistent separation at all three levels with a wide route tree. Shows a strong drive phase off the line and is an advanced route runner for his age. He sets up his routes using stems to attack leverage and sells hard at the top with a variety of moves. His cuts are sharp and sudden with good burst both as a route runner and after the catch. After the catch, he transitions up field quickly, is elusive in space, and can breakaway with speed.
