AJ Westfield is an exciting prospect that can play all over the defensive line and has a ton of potential to build upon at Tulane.

He has a strong frame with good size that he can keep adding to with great athleticism to generate pressure in the backfield at all times.

He has a basketball background and that shows up with him being comfortable working in space as well and can attack any of the five offensive lineman.

He is big, athletic, and on a promising development arc with the potential to eventually be a transfer-up candidate as a versatile defensive lineman that can get after the quarterback.

The Bears are 3-1 on the season with their defense becoming the shining star and Westfield being that guy that leads the way. Last week in the Bears 24-10 win over Farragut, Westfield was an absolute beast as he produced ten total tackles with five of them for loss and four sacks on the night. This future Tulane Green Wave D-lineman could not be blocked nor kept out of the backfield. The Admirals offensive line had an extremely hard time dealing with Westfield due to his quick burst off the snap, his active hands and violent approach up front. This was a monster performance from Westfield and it may not be his last.
