Merce Roach | Prep Redzone Scout
Mercé Roach brings over two decades of football coaching, scouting, and player development experience to PrepRedZone Missouri. Currently serving as the Head Football Coach at Lutheran High School St. Charles, Roach is deeply committed to the growth of young athletes both on and off the field. His coaching philosophy emphasizes education-based athletics, focusing on the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual development of student-athletes. Throughout his career, Coach Roach has held numerous leadership roles, including Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Duchesne High School, Offensive Coordinator at Lutheran St. Charles, and Quarterbacks Coach at Greenville University. He has also served in football operations and recruiting roles at both the collegiate and high school levels, giving him a well-rounded understanding of talent evaluation and athlete development. In addition to his coaching career, Roach is the CEO and Lead Quarterback Coach of The MRQU QB Academy, where he has trained quarterbacks from youth through high school, many of whom have earned college scholarships. His extensive experience includes working with nationally recognized quarterback training platforms such as Elite 11, QB Collective, and QB Universe. Coach Roach’s passion for coaching goes beyond the X’s and O’s. He views coaching as a calling, dedicating his life to mentoring young men and preparing them for success on the field, in the classroom, and in life. His ability to connect with athletes, parents, and coaches has made him a respected leader in the Missouri football community.
